On Friday (16 Oct 2020) Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Kartik hands over KKR Captaincy to Eoin Morgan.

Eoin Moragan is the England’s one of the best capatin which won the world cup for England will take over the KKR Capataincy rest of the match in IPL 2020.

Kartik said that due to his Capataincy, he can’t focusing onthe batting.

To focus on his batting he will going to hands over the Captaincy to Eoin Morgan.

In 13th edition of IPL, under Kartik leadership his team won four out of their seven matches. Now his team placed 4th position of the points table.

Karthik, however, hasn’t been in the best of forms with the bat, averaging 15.42 for his 108 runs so far in the IPL season.

Karthik also led from the front in the 2018 IPL season, compiling 498 runs at an average of 49.8 and strike rate of 147.77.

In March 2018, Karthik was named as KKR’s new captain, replacing their long-term skipper Gautam Gambhir. Under Karthik’s leadership,

KKR progressed to the playoffs stage in 2018 but were eliminated in the league stage last year.

Karthik captained KKR for two entire seasons of the IPL, guiding the team to the knockouts in 2018 and a fifth-place finish in 2019.

This year, KKR are currently placed fourth with eight points after seven matches.

Karthik was appointed captain of KKR ahead of the 2018 season of the IPL, replacing the side’s long-standing skipper Gautam Gambhir, who joined the Delhi Capitals (then Daredevils) after the franchise opted not to retain him.
